Your chats are private.
Your Velvet Room chats are private to your account. Other users cannot open your rooms, read your messages, or access your memories.
What private means
We do not publish your chats, display them on public pages, put them in search results, or use them as public examples. Your conversation content stays inside your account and the service systems required to operate your rooms.
What we store
We store your account details, messages, conversation history, and memories so your rooms can continue across sessions. These records are associated with your account and are not available to other users.
Who can access them
Your chats are accessible through your signed-in account. Authorized Velvet Room administrators can access an account only through the audited support workflow used for service operations and troubleshooting. That access is recorded and is never public access.
AI response processing
When you send a message, the server sends the conversation context to the configured AI provider so it can generate a reply. The provider connection is made by our server. Your API credentials are never sent to your browser.
Your control
You can export your account data or permanently delete your account, rooms, messages, and memories from account settings.
